'Izkor' - an association of Heritage of Mountain Jews
The " Izkor " Association was organized in Jerusalem by a constituent assembly of youth, who previously lived in Baku. It is created and legally registered in Associations of Funds of Israel number: 58-0528008.

The organization aims work to for the blessing of conservation of memory of Heritage of Mountain Jews .For some twenty years with the phenomenon of mass migration from the former Soviet Union the Jewish community in the mountains dwindled and today there are only a few members of the community who currently reside in the Caucasus. As a result, Jewish heritage is disappearing.
Most Jewish sites in recent years have been left without supervision and treatment and have thus been destroyed. After many years of preserving Jewish identity, even despite the Soviet Communist ideology, the impressive and unique Jewish heritage of the Mountain Jews is disappearing. We, the community, see our responsibility to act to preserve, strengthen Jewish identity among the community itself, especially younger generations, and maintain the community's heritage which is an inseparable part of the history of the Jewish people.
The association has received support for its goals activity from the Israeli government .
